Remember Boris, the smoke alarm that keeps taking the piss?
It was going nuts the other day. It'd beep once, then quiet. Then awhile later, one more beep, then quiet. Then finally it just went off, beeping and beeping and beeping. I had a massive headache so Boris' screeching really hurt. So Brad got a bit frantic about turning the thing off quickly. He went over to it, reached up to hit the button that switches it off, and accidentally ended up pulling it out of the ceiling. He brought it in to show me, with a shrug. At least now it'll be quiet.
Except twenty minutes later, it started beeping again. I asked "How can it do that, you pulled the wires out!"
Turns out Boris also has batteries.
