Dude, dude. So far this year has been awesome. New Year's Eve was spent in Hamilton having wine and cheese and conversation with a bunch of great friends, then I worked for a billion hours, and then it was my birthday! I had a party at my place with a very different bunch of great friends, got quite inebriated on tequila and beer, and had a blast. By all accounts it was a good party, and the parts of it that I remember definitely were awesome.
Yesterday was my first day off since the 20th of December, and I celebrated it by sleeping in, ignoring the massive massive amount of dishes created by the party, and going to see Sherlock Holmes with disarm_d. I have most of today off, as well, and have done aforementioned massive amount of dishes and plan to do a bit of running around later this afternoon before my shift starts at 6.
2010: SO FAR, SO GOOD. Looking back on my first few posts of 2009, wow, there was a goodly amount of anger and negativity, so I'm going to try to curb that impulse this year and focus on the positive. Things are looking up!
