Dear Heating Professional:
Perhaps mid-October is not the greatest time for you to take a vacation, as it tends to be cold then. Might I suggest September? That month is far more temperate.
I would just really like some heat in my apartment, please. I'm sure the other three apartments who are having heating issues would agree. WE CANNOT WAIT UNTIL NEXT MONDAY. I understand that vacations are sacred and stuff, but you know what else is sacred? WARMTH. My hypothetical balls have already frozen off, heaven forbid my actual digits go the same way.
(I typed this with a stick, as it is currently too cold to move my fingers.)

The only thing that makes the inside of my apartment different than the outside is that there is no wind inside. SO COLD. I have had as many hot baths as one person can reasonably take in a week; my toes are perma-pruned and I have run out of new reading material. :(((((
(on the upside: so many hot baths! reading in the tub! hot hot hot water turning my skin pink and then red and making my muscles relax for at least a little while, oh, baths, how I have missed you.)
