Hey, kids! A friendly hint from Aunt Amy right here: If you decide that one day you're going to buy hair dye based solely on the fact that it's named after a fruit you like, it can go well or evilly. Thank goodness Luscious Mango is a good look for me. (The other choice was Something Pomegranate, which I think may have turned out a little dark.)
On the other hand, if you decide that, since you're futzing with your hair anyway, you want to give yourself bangs? Try to remember that the reason you haven't had bangs since you were like, ten, is because you've got those two annoying cowlicks in the front, and they will make your "bangs" stick right up in the air, and wave around like they just don't care and make you look like a moron.
The plan for the next three months: Poofing the front of my hair, combined with the cunning use of hairspray and pomade.
