Snowy Saturdays

Nov 29, 2003 17:40

The best feeling in the world is waking up on a Saturday morning, realizing that it's Saturday morning, and then rolling over and going back to sleep for a few hours. And then waking up said few hours later to a sun-warmed room and snow on the ground. And then eating healthily all day, finishing my last paper of the semester, decorating for Christmas, listening to good music all day, talking with Jeff on MSN for two hours, talking with Mom on the phone for ten minutes... It's been a good Saturday.
And it promises to get better. Tonight, the Redeemer Royals and Calvin Knights hockey teams are playing a full-contact game. I'm excited. They played last night with no contact, and the Knights won, 4-2. The first period was really fast and intense, and then our guys started getting tired. A few bad calls and a goal that shouldn't have happened later, Calvin players and supporters were cheering. But tonight... They will get their just desserts. Bwahahahaha. Hahahaha. Haha. Ha.
Ok. I'm going to go work on my evil laugh and drink some tea with honey in it - my throat still hurts from screaming last night, and I'm almost positive that tonight'll be worse. Or better, depending. Yeah. Later!

silver bells, happiness is
