I am sitting here watching 'Sports Kids Mom's and Dad's'. The good thing I am noticing is that these kids actually do want to do what they are doing. The bad thing I noticed I am as bad as these moms. The mom's are just on these kids butts and on the competition (in some areas). I remember when I had my daughter in ballet/tap classes. I am sooo happy I wasn't allowed in the room cause I would have just been on her. During her last days she said that she wanted to do hip hop as well, so I let her. There was one day when they were in another room, a room where parents are allowed to sit and watch. For some reason on this day my child did not want to participate ... oooh I was heated. I think she didn't want to do it because it wasn't the teacher for that class, but it isn't like she didn't know the sub. The sub was her balle/tap teacher. Now when we are out in public I don't spank her, I pinch her so no one knows. (don't worry it isn't that hard ... I just go to grab it so it is more for the effect) Anyways she was just whining and not wanting to go. I did the pinch (I think I was somewhat yelling at her as well) ... then she was still tryin to sit down so I think I went to spank her and she kinda fell from tryin to avoid it. Well during this one parent was tryin to say something to me, I was like 'you need to worry about yourself' then the lady went to tell on me cause I was startin on her as well. *note* please don't talk to me, look at me, motion to me, any thing when I am pissed or I will start with you too./ So I was walkin out with my child and the owner comes up to me and said to take her outside if I wanted to punish her cause I would/was scaring the other kids. I thought she was gonna say something else and I was gettin ready to start on her, but she didn't. I guess I kinda understood what she said, but I was leavin anyways and we never went back. Mainly cause my child was still trippin and not wanting to go, and I am not gonna pay money for something she isn't going to do. I be feelin sorry for my poor baby at times, but I can't help that I want her to be the best at what she does.

Now she says she wants to do karate ... eh, I gotta think about that one.
