Even the most carefully crafted garden will shrivel and die without a tender touch. This land is no different. A land once comparable to paradise, but it has withered to a ghost of its former self and stands at the very brink of death.
He knows nothing of it. Without even a clue, he continues on with your life. The life of a man-or perhaps a mere boy-of another world and what concern are matters of some foreign land to the likes of him? Then, ever so strangely, a peculiar thought (not quite his own) crosses his mind.
“One day I will find him.”
He begins to question it. “Who?” No, much more than that. The thought seems unlike his own. It’s then that the world begins to spin and the light seems to fade away. His world grows more distant. He may have strained to watch this bizarre moment, but his eyes slip shut and his consciousness fades into a dream.
Then the boy woke up here.
As he opens his eyes, he hears the flap of wings, and the noise of paws on linoleum floor. He finds himself in a strange new world. Here, he would come to learn that love and life are the most precious things a person could hold.
