(no subject)
Well this weekend was quite eventful. I left Thursday at 11:00 to go to Baltimore. The plane there was delayed, then we had a layover in Houston. And once again the plane was delayed. So we got to our hotel at 3:30 Friday morning. Yeah it sucked. So my whole day was basically traveling.
Friday we went shopping, found a pair of jeans at Kohl's for $9. I love that store. Friday we went to Ligia's house and had dinner there. Her family is great. We had some good dinner- that actually cost my parents way too much money- way more than the people said it would cost. We had a little toast to my brother and Ligia. My dad got up and said that he was thankful for these boys- and then he said I mean Matt and Ligia. And then my brother said "Yeah let's go to Massachusetts." Yeah it was pretty hilarious. Many tears were shed. I also have a boyfriend now. His name is Alex. He is Ligia's 4 1/2 year old nephew. I was playing with him and he said that I was his girlfriend.
Saturday I stayed at the church, with the kids, while everyone else went to the Temple for the wedding. Tons of pictures were taken, and then we had the reception. It was very nice. It was at a beautiful mansion, built in the 1920's or something. Since I was a bridesmaid I had to greet people and take the presents, and missed out on some good food. I ate some, but had to mostly greet people. They had prime rib, shrimp, chocolate covered strawberries, pasta stuff, and much much more. It was delicious.
We also went to DC to see some of the memorials. They have a new one, the WWII memorial- it was way awesome. We also saw the Korean and Vietnam. Very touching, and beautiful.
We left Sunday morning. We had to leave at 4:00 in the morning. Our plane was supposed to leave at 6, again it was delayed. Then we had about a 2 hour layover in Houston. And again the plane was delayed. Finally we get onto the plane. I start reading my book, and I fall asleep. I wake up and we are still on the plane, we haven't moved. I didn't know how long I had been asleep for, and find out that we had been sitting there for an hour because of weather. So we didn't get home until 7:00. So my trip was great and terrible at the same time. Sorry that this is so long, I didn't expect it to be this long, so just deal with it. Love ya all. Hope you have a good week.
