Seriously, the last time I sat down and watched that many episodes of anything in one go was when I first discovered The West Wing (and about £200 and 1 month later I had seen every eppy)!!!!!!

I'm not quite sure why I liked it so much though... maybe a cheeky re-watch is in order... ;)

I love the person-centred-ness of the cases, and the cast of fine actors.. and of course the Cal/Gillian ship which I am totally hooked on (quite predictably.. I could probably ship a goldfish and it's tank ;)

Shipping is, for me at least, one of the great joys of television (and books and films and plays and well, anything). I do not thing I have ever watched something without hardcore shipping at least one pairing. I blame Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice!

LtM humor also appealed... It's very noticeable atm if I find something even slightly amusing because I descend into a coughing fit and Gillian's speech re: the Pink! dress had me pausing the *cough* completely legal *cough* video to die for a couple of minutes before I could start watching again...

Also who can deny a ship where the two principle characters are SO different and yet so alike and already have a warmth to their relationship?? Oooooh!

Ooh gosh, me too. I ship, therefore I am ;)

Yes the humour is fabulous! LOL @ your coughing fit! I loved her pink dress speech!

Also who can deny a ship where the two principle characters are SO different and yet so alike and already have a warmth to their relationship?? Oooooh!

Yes it was lovely to start from that position of warmth, wasn't it? I take it you have watched 'Honey'? Wasn't the end scene to die for??!

PS. So I take it you are in your first year at Warwick? I hope you got to enjoy Freshers week etc. before getting poorly! Are people looking after you or keeping you quarantined? LOL ;)

I have indeed watched Honey. Last scene made my heart melt rather a lot, as did the sight of Gillian so near tears and only holding it together because Cal asked her to. SIGH...

Yup, got though freshers hit the real work and got sick so I am already massively behind! Everyone I live with is being SO nice trying to feed me and going off to the hospital to pick up my tammiflu. But I am now MASSIVELY sick of the sight of my room having been in here for 5 days!

I know! I think that got to me more than the last scene!
