Saturday
1. Stumptown is good coffee. Does anybody have a favorite coffee roaster?
2. I love Cafe Press, but holy batshit the close proximity to others makes for high levels of unintentional overshare. I don't want to hear that you love yoga because it stretches out your inner muscles and that you play the flag game with people you have sex with (from what I gather you keep score of what nationality people you boink and try and fill up the map) and that you hyperventilate about the subject of having children, all of this being shared with your (most likely first or blind) date that is old enough to be your dad.
3. Also, please turn down the volume on your cologne. It's almost as obnoxious as your conversation.
4. I have my first bass lesson on tuesday.
5. Tonight it is off to my monthly dinner party with 12 other ladies. I am making truffle chips. I will try to not eat all of them before the dinner.
6. My last story I turned in for english garnered this feedback: The easiest 4.0 my teacher has ever given. This is especially touching, because he is not one of those prof's who hand out 4.0's willy nilly. Usually it's really, really hard to get anything above a 3.5 from him, I have found. So, yay me!
7. I am excited that now that I am playing bass I don't have to try growin out my nails. They always split and break, no matter how many damned vitamins I am taking. Also my pointer finger on my right hand is permanently deformed from when I almost cut entire first joint off when I was 2. It has a crack that runs through both sides (flesh to nail) and only half the nail ever grows. It's really a mess. Now I can just keep it trimmed super short and not have to fret about it.
