Lately I have been loving the following fall foods:
Chestnuts
Squash
Mushrooms
Kale
I just bought truffle salt. Holy crap.
My new favorite thing to do with kale:
Wash, stem and roughly chop
Toss in a bowl with good extra virgin olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, lots of salt (truffle salt if you have it), chopped red onions and halved cherry tomatoes. Let sit for at least 8 hours, tossing occasionally.
Consume in mass quantities.
