do YOU have an " ITALY" t-shirt?
yaaaaaaaaaaaaay ITS FINALLY 2006!!!!! wOoT! this means i am closer to graduating. hooray. on monday i watched the rose parade with my dad and we laughed at all the miserable people on the streets. its no fun if its sunny every year. i felt kinda bad for the people in it thoh. it's cold enough WITHOUT rain. anyway, i hope everyone's christmas/chanukah and new year were great. any good presents? did you go anywhere? please tell. :)
OH MY GOD. when i got back to school on tuesday it was like everyone who didnt have an ipod before got one. even during break, almost everyone i asked got one even my sister...its insane...THEY'RE TAKING OVER THE WORLD! it seems like the top gifts were ipods and Uggs. i got the fake uggs but i dont really care because they keep my feet warm and i wouldnt trust myself not to get a pair of $200 shoes scuffed up.
i got to stay home alone for a week cuz my mom and mel went italy. i stayed home to finish my college apps. on the bright side though, i am all DONE with my apps!! they brought me back a lot of cool stuff thoh so its all good. :) i got this awesome electric blue shirt that says ITALY on it. i love it. except now its in the laundry so i can't wear it again til next week. :(
sooo...what other news...
jen fifield came and visited me all the way from CHINA. we hung out, went shopping, etc. i havent seen her since june. she left last monday, but she's visiting at the end of june so that will be fun.
OOOOHHHHH-----i got into the Illinois Institute of Technology! they especially called to tell me on like the 22nd right before christmas, which was really nice of them. i hope i sounded excited/happy enough on the phone. i don't want to go there unless its my absolute last choice--its friggin far and cold, but at least it means im not academically destitute anymore. yay.
---> 55% of the students are engineering majors, and 74% of the student body is male. which is not bad, but i dont know if i could live with so much testosterone around me? i'm still keeping my fingers crossed for UCLA and Berkeley though.:D
hmmmmmm im trying to decide if i should go clean my room or continue clicking around on the computer?
