Super fast because I have so much to do today and tomorrow for
Winchest Midwest that I simply don't have time to use my entire break to write a long review. So! Great episode, great music (woot, Thin Lizzy AND The Who!), and Great Googly Moogly, Sam Winchester, WHAT are you thinking? I just knew he didn't burn that book--called it on Twitter. But to go to Rowena for help? Didn't you learn from Ruby and Lucifer and the Campbells that you CAN'T TRUST BAD GUYS?!?! He'll get the mark off Dean, sure, but the consequences are going to be atrocious. I'm thinking either Lucifer will come back or Sam will go super evil again. Yay. Not.
Love that Dean is still the moral compass, and I love that he got to enjoy himself a little bit last night, even if his hope was snatched away again almost as soon as it formed. Loved Charlie and Cas together. Love that Cas got his grace back. Loved some of Metatron's lines (especially the "O...M...me!" during the waffles and then the "Samateur Hour" at the library), loved that Cas punched the weasel out, hate that Metatron got away, and with the demon tablet no less. Also am intrigued by this new Stein family and Jacob--he was nicely menacing. Hope we see more of him.
The preview for next week got me super excited, but I won't say why so I don't spoil anyone. Just trust me--you'll be excited, too :)
And...scene! What did you think of the ep?
