Ugh
I really want this English class to be over.
I am writing an essay on postcards (we needed to pick something mentioned in something we'd been assigned to read, and write about it. I picked the second runner up in the "what? I don't even remember that being there!" awards, second only to the common garden trellis). They have a long and convoluted history that seems to tie into Austria somehow but nothing seems to have anything clear on this, and they are apparently excessively popular with collectors. If someone happens to have a book with info about postcards, let me know, because the essay has to have at least two actual published non-electronic sources, and right now the library has a few... So I put a couple on hold, but I have no idea how long it will be before they are ready, and I need them ASAP (since the essay is due Thursday). Grar. I really wish we had more time for each essay. Especially since my midterm is Tuesday, so my essay writing efforts are diluted by the occasional break to look things up for that.
Also, ice cream is addictive. I went to get a spoonful of ice cream, and came back with a full bowl. Oh well.
