N-no. It's just that, well, the town I was in. Almost all the locks were broken, so the doors wouldn't open!

Good! She was so upset before I felt really bad! Maybe she'll stop once she grows up...I mean, evolves? Or maybe it'll just take awhile. [Since she IS an orphan Pokemon.]

She still cries, but... she seems to calm down if I hold her while we sleep. What do you mean, evolves...?

That's the perfect way! It's always easier to sleep while someone's there holding you. [Vanille loves cuddling while sleeping.
