(no subject)
Got up at 12 noon today.
Being able to sleep in = priceless
I've been kind of strange today. Threw in a load of laundry to recover my blue flannel shirt (which I will wear to rehearsal), unloaded/reloaded the dishwasher, and cooked chicken and rice and sweet peas for my siblings and Katie. I feel accomplished and also very full.
I have rehearsal in 45 minutes.
I'm also kind of in "birthday denial"... maybe I've just got so much going on that I don't really accept that I'm going to be another year older... maybe I just feel like I'm getting old (not).
I'm pretty happy now, but by the end of break, I'm going to be a complete nutcase. I'm really purpose-driven, and without purpose (or friends) I get really bored and depressed really easily. Maybe I'll go to the library tomorrow and pick up some books to keep me company - gotta read "the Grapes of Wrath" 'cuz G might be doing it as the drama next year... o yeah and I must also finish "Needful Things" even though I've got like 200 pages to go.
Which reminds me that I've also got a cause and effect essay to do on Czar Nicholas II that is due the Monday after next.
I'm signed up for 3 shop calls this quarter. Hooray for turning in my sheet on time! 1 will be in paint on Thurs, the other two will be in the scene shop on the 27th and the 9th.
