Oy. Break is a pain.
I'm starting to feel a little claustrophobic - the walls are closing in on me. I've really got to get back to school. However, I have had some books to keep me company - read 227 + 107 + 184 + 390 pages so far, plus about 1/3 of "the eyes of the dragon" and finishing up "Wolves of the Calla" by Stephen King and the first 50 pages of "the bones in the cliff" but put it down cuz it sucked like the suck and heave of the ocean in chapter 10 of "Lord of the Flies". "Wolves" is a doozy of a book. 925 pages of Roland-y goodness. Enough to make the strongest gunslinger flee in terror for his life. I wish that Mrs. Fisher would have given us an essay to do - that would be good - but no, she gives us a packet about Greek science, theology, and ethics. Doesn't even have any questions in it. Poop. Which is what I feel like right now. Went to Bay City on Tuesday with family and Grant - visited antiques museum and ate at the Exit Inn. I ate 3/4 of a pound worth of hamburgers, all of my fries, and one of Erika's chicken tenders. We got a picture of Grant holding up this large letter "O" that they had for sale at the humongonormous antiques store and hope to use it as a slide for "zero, my hero" of "my hero, zero" or whatever. Poop. Which is what I feel like right now. Went to Jessicas house last Saturday - played Lord of the rings risk with Jess, Kylyn, Lynette for a long time. I would have won too but we got bored. Ate some stuff. Walked to the Clinton River Bridge where Kylyn showed off her impressive knowledge of the labels on alcohol bottles. Froze assorted body parts off. Returned and drank hot chocolate while trying to watch "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" on like abc or some such. Then the girls started looking at myspaces of which I have no knowledge and there were a bunch of people that I don't know. I'm the only loser without a myspace and now I feel like crying. Sniff. Yako, m'I kcab won.
O yah, watched Olympics opening ceremonies, mens and part of womens halfpipe, mens freestyle arial, womens downhill slalom or something, a little bit of the 10,000 m speed skating, almost all of 4 man bobsled, women's figure skating and the random bits of curling that the throw in during transitions on CBC. Canadians - huh. Shaun White took gold in mens halfpipe, can't remember her name but she was an American won womens halfpipe, Julia Mancusso won women's slalom, Shizuka Arokawa of Japan (think that's how you spell it) won figure skating for women earning first figure skating medal for Japan ever with Sasha Cohen in second and the russian dude who's name starts with a p won figure skating gold. The American took silver in above speed skating. *This just in: Don Knotts (Barney from Andy Griffith) dead today at the age of 81.* Apollo Oh no! he fell again. The pizzeria guy won bronze in curling for US making first US curling medal. Hoozah. Sorry. I love the Olympics. Back to you, Mike.
Couldn't get to sleep last night so watched an old movie: "Mr. Blanding builds his dream house" on PBS at 3 in the morning with Erika. Cary Grant has this wart or something on his cheek that is very distracting. What the heck is it?!?!?!?
Nathan needs to not get grounded anymore. Ever.
Not really, you can still get grounded if you want, just er, stay out of trouble.
School coming along fine - 3.944 GPA rank 34 out of 370 in my class. I'm exactly tied with Matt Weal.
Well I should be going now I have exactly nothing to do and so much time to do it in.
P.S. Really windy today - anyone else feel it?
P.P.S. "You folks say you know you can't believe - Jamaica, yeah, we have a bobsled team." -cool runnings
P.P.P.S George shoots Lennie as a mark of their friendship, right?
