This is going to be short and sweet.
This goes out to all you closet door to door brush and vacuum cleaner sales persons. Now I realize that I'm going to catch it from not only the offenders but from there supporters too but fuck it. The worst offenders in some communities i'm in have been women but this goes for any guys doing it too.
STOP TRYING TO SELL US YOUR SHIT.
In a world where TV commercials take up almost as much time as the show your watching, I think we'd all like a place of refuge. I personally don't want to see your EBAY auction. I enjoy the communities I'm in but I don't want to see what your selling. Thats what ebay is for. If my girl wants to buy used cloths she'll look on ebay and bid.
Next, I saw someone post, in a Dallas community, an ad for a local radio station. Now I can only assume that they are trying to push the radio station and some funky cash contest. Listen and Win, for pete's sake!!! I just see some 30 something corporate guy finding Live Journal and selling anything and everything. "I'm trying to get in touch with you MR. Skateboard Man"
Aren't you tired of people telling you your not COOL if you don't skate board and jump out of an airplane? That same person then tries to sell you an energy drink, or a bag of Doritos with Tony Hawk in the back ground. Think about what they are selling you. Think about what they... the man is trying to get you to buy into. Thanks for listening.
