I remember when I was in Kuala Lumpur a few years back, my family wanted to go up to the highest part of the Petronas Twin Towers, and upon asking the taxi driver for his opinion of the view, he said that he had never been to the top. Which led to me to realise that most of the top, we do not visit our local attractions, because they are so easily accessible. However, after today, I can proudly say that I have got to experience what a tourist in Singapore would- a ride on the Singapore Flyer. It was really rather boring, because the sights were nothing that I have not seen before. Though, I guess it was a new experience and I got to spend time with Jing Min, Hui Xin and Nat. (:
Anyway, Michael Jackson is dead. I did feel goosebumps when I browsed through his videos, because talented or not, perverse or not, we all die one day and I have to admit that sometimes I do forget that fact. In life, maybe we are too preoccupied with the daily events in our life that we forget that we are spiraling towards the same end. Though I am sure that he must have had a lot of regrets in the last moments of his life- he had not had the chance to make a comeback and to let the public forget the accusations made against him. I do feel sad for what he could have salvaged, if given the time.
