Gundams, Transformers, Reideen Oh My!
Hello, it is me again, the nerdy fan girl...(the extremely nerdy fan girl). Anyways I'm really hyped up about the new Transformers movie, the executive producer is that guy Steven Spielberg, I hope he doesn't crap it up like he did with that new war of the worlds movie (was it him who did that movie??). The robots in that movie are really cool looking, I mostly like Optimus Prime..well... in every Transformers thing I watch he's my favorite ^^; which is freaky. Today I got the Protoform Optimus Prime figure..I couldn't resist it...it was there! I think its coming to theaters in July fourth, but its the fourth of July..and were doing some sort of vacation, so I might miss it :( which really sucks and is like the best movie playing, aside from Paprika and Naruto, but Paprika is rated R which is annoying..very annoying, and it looked so cool too! Anyways back to my shiny Optimus Prime.. It can transform (NO...really?) but not into a semi truck.. it transforms into what seems to be a meteorite.. Anyway for some reason I took a photo of it.. and now I feel like adding it here:

Isn't it cool? It can strike the almost the same pose as the Gundam Wing Zero Custom on the cover of Endless Waltz, I would have preferred to photograph it in that pose, but I have to keep it from falling over while taking the picture with a heavy camera with one hand and trying to focus it AND taking it while holding the camera all with one hand...ok..now I'm done ranting about my over weight camera :D (obese!).. Anyway I really liked this version of Optimus Prime..now this Optimus Prime is my favorite!
One thing thats been confusing me about the Transformers movie is that..was it originaly made by Japan? Or is it being remade cause they don't wanna dub it? Or did the US make the idea? It confuses me since Transformers is an anime started by Japan, so Takura must have the rights to it? maybe?..dunno..
I was shocked to find out that Turn A Gundam was not licensed and I thought it was. Actually it made me sad to know that an awesome series has yet to be licensed, although I hope Bandai licenses it, its such a cool sounding Gundam series.
I heard of a new series called Gundam 00. I WAS SO FREAKIN HAPPY in a way :D. Also I'm gonna miss Seed, which is one of my favorite Gundam series..
Apparently Gundam 00 is set 300 years from 2007, so its set in 2307! funky huh? I guess.
One of the new gundams is called Gundam Excia, it's a cool looking Gundam, it doesn't look crapy. I hope theres girls in this series, well, more than shown in the teaser trailer.. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=nBPITnkLLok). The pic below is a image of the Gundam Excia
