amish reality television and action figures? how can it get any better?
yesterday we rented "devil's playground", a documentary on the amish. at age 16, amish children spend anywhere from a few months to years in the outside world, to see if they really want to join the amish church. this movie was about those teens and what they do in those years. and let me tell you, if i'm going to any party, it'll be an amish party. holy crap. there were shots of them doing body shots, pot, and crack for god's sake! crazy shit! one of my favorite characters was the amish crack dealer who was caught narcing some other dealers out. he left his girl friend and joined the amish church to avoid getting killed. what a bastard. after we watched this, william's mom cindy came home from indiana bearing gifts from...amish land! oh god yes! i got a little hand made amish doll wearing a little dress and bonnet! the only thing that would make it more cool is if she had crack-smoking action and said a multitude of colorful swear words. she will be my new best friend and we will go party in some guy's trailer until day break! then we will go to the bar to sleep it off! amish people kick ass! they're so wild and crazy!
