This is my late and rambling holiday post!

omg I need to stop disappearing from the internet. Stuff has actually been going on and now it's all going into a post that will probably be too long for anyone to read! I'll try to keep it short I think.

Christmas was better than it's been in years because for once, people actually had money! I didn't let getting laid off stop me from buying stuff for people because I was already determined to do it. I got a toner cartridge and a new 5 cup rice cooker for mom, and a couple boxes of anime for Shannon. (Mythical Detective Loki, which I've never seen but she got excited about, and the second part of FMA Brotherhood, which we watched and got excited about Ling Yao. XD) My dad bought my brother a plane ticket and he mysteriously showed up on our doorstep one night, which was kind of a Christmas miracle or some shit. XD He was over for Christmas, but nobody really had anything for him because he showed up out of nowhere without telling anybody, so. I got some stuff for him when we went shopping before going down to dad's house later though. We did get to hang out for a few days at least, during which time he played through Alan Wake and we went to meet our friend Tracie and go up to the Super H Mart, which everyone is pretty much in love with. XD; We met mom and Shannon there, wandered around, and then went to eat Korean food, which I had barely any of because I couldn't decide what to get due to being ignorant, and I got pointed at chicken bulgogi, which I couldn't even eat because it was too spicy and I am a pathetic wuss ugggh.

Anyway. Here is the obligatory loot list:

At Mom's
A coat I wanted from one of the stores in Super H Mart
Some brown pirate boots that I killed my feet with by wearing them the day we were going to wander around all over the place (like an idiot)
A plaid hat
Plaid chopsticks
A somewhat creepy Scottish man tin full of shortbread cookies

At Dad's
An older purple iPod nano which seems to have been named Kiredori because I'm a loser XD;(5th generation? Before they became stupid anyway)
iPod stuff (cases I might not even use and purple headphones)
25$ iTunes gift card that I'm really not sure what I'll do with, being the horrible pirate that I am
100$ in gift Visa cards

Hmmm I think I'm forgetting something, but maybe not. It's been a week already! Haha I fail at this.

Moving on to New Year's, by which point my brother has flown back to Florida after getting to the airport a day early because he can't read sometimes! New Year's Eve was pretty uneventful and mom didn't even make soba like she said she would, but the next day was full of cooking delicious food because she invited a bunch of people over. There was teriyaki chicken and yakisoba and tonkatsu and gyoza and miso soup, and she was going to make sushi, but some people bailed. It was really a ridiculous amount of food, and there's still leftovers, so that's pretty exciting. Me and Shannon absconded to her room to watch anime at some point during the party thing because we're lame and antisocial like that. I wish I had friends I could invite over to my house to hang out and eat food, but the only one I can think of is Tracie, who is allergic to cats. :(

So anyway that's more or less how holidays went. I guess now is when I should be making some resolutions I'm not going to keep, so I will work on those so I can put them in a completely different post. But first, I am going to go find some leftovers to eat, and maybe try to be somewhat productive or something! Haha let's see how this goes. :D

delicious food, christmas, new years, anime, super h mart, tl;dr
