This is kind of like an actual update!
Okay, I will agree that this new profile shit is bananas. I know some people put a lot of effort into making their profiles pretty. I can barely make my lj pretty, but yeah...they really need to make it optional or scrap it completely. :[
I am taking the weekend off between projects. I should be doing productive things like at least drawing or something, but no, I seem to be spending a ridiculous amount of time on gaia because I'm a loser, and stupid mmos are strangely addicting. :B There are still a lot of bugs that really need help though, especially the one that will not allow me to form groups with certain people, though it works with others just fine. >_>
In other news, I went out and got My Japanese Coach for the DS. I swear this system is the revival of edutainment. Even with getting a perfect score on the placement thing at the beginning I still end up going over a lot of stuff I learned in the first semester, but I don't mind that so much. Seeing it all over again is a good reminder since it's been so long, and I've learned a few words and stuff I never knew. The cg teacher lady is kinda creepy, but what can you do. But it is making me think more about Japanese, so I think it should help a bit. Maybe I'll get back up to speed eventually.
Last night the promised grilling of food was called off in favor of pizza because we don't have a grill brush to clean the damn thing. Was told grilling would happen this afternoon for sure, buuut it's already three and mom hasn't set foot out of her room yet, so I'm fairly certain it won't. Predictably, of course. I honestly don't expect to see that thing fired up for half a year at least. Or, she'll do it at some point when I'm over at dad's or something and she has friends over. Because that is the time when tasty food is most likely to happen, when I am not there to partake of it. Yeah, I'm jaded. It comes along with constant disappointment.
Did see Deathstalker II last night though. It was...a movie. Shit, the damn synthesizer theme is running through my head again. Curse you, the eighties!
Now it would be really nice if I could get over this illness I seem to have caught...I'd really rather not be dealing with this all week. >_>
