001. Leave me a comment saying you want to do the meme.
002. I'll respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
003. You should update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
004. You should include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
005. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
aoshi asked me questions.
1. What is your all time favourite game?
Uh...I want to say one of the Suikodens, and since that's the only game fandom I've gotten into much, that's probably true...but the truth is I've never picked a favorite out of those! I want to say it's either 3 or 5. Yeah, the ones everyone hates. Go me!
2. If you could go anywhere without worrying about the costs, where would you go?
Japan, there's no question. I want a nerdy shopping spree, too! But maaaan I need to figure out how to get a usable grasp of that language.
3. If you could have sort of dream job, what would you choose?
I think I'd like to work somewhere in the gaming industry, maybe? I don't know, mostly I'd like a really relaxed work environment with fun people in it. I think some design studios are like that, but I still don't think I'm good enough at design for them to want me around.
4. What is your favourite kind of food?
Um...yeah, it's Japanese food. There's still a lot I haven't tried yet, though...I wish it was easier to get around here. I have to go so far just for ingredients, and it's too expensive for me to go out to eat with nobody else to go with...also I don't know where is good.
5. Is there a game/novel/movie/anime that you easily find yourself rewatch/playing/reading over and over again? If so, what is it and why.
Well I'm usually so much of a bum I barely do it the first time, but...I'm gonna say Baccano, since even though I'd seen it once, when I show it to other people I end up wanting to sit and watch it too. It's just such a fun series, and I love the characters. Also, prohibition era gangsters! And the best criminal duo ever! Other than that....Kamikaze Girls. :D
Any minute now I will be working on busting my ass trying to come up with a bunch of stuff for design tomorrow, because I'm still dragging on that front, and if this keeps up I'll probably fail again for the exact same reason I failed the first time. But dammit, it's so hard to get ideas in the first place, and I really think the fact that this client is something I'm invested in makes it even harder. I just need to somehow get over this massive hurdle, as soon as I figure out a direction it's usually pretty smooth sailing.
Even with all that mess I'm still thinking I'm going to try something next month. Like, drawing a picture every day sort of something. Even though that last drawing every day thing kind of fell apart when I went to California. (we'll pick it up again eventually!) But this will be something simpler, I think, with very little thought required, so maybe I can keep it up. I just really need to get to drawing more often, even if it's the same boring 3/4 view portraits (facing left) I always do. Because those could use improvement as well.
Man, I kind of want to start on it already, but no...I have other things to do, and it's not October yet!
