What I've been doing lately
So, yeah, last week of school and all that. Not so interesting. Since my brother hasn't had his first class this week we've been scooting up to Lewisville to bum around and kill time and gas pretty much just to see what was there. You know what's there?
And we were baffled by the sign out by the road that only said DONUTS & WATER. But it turns out it's gourmet, too.
Apparently Lewisville's mascot is the Fighting Farmers. That is so intimidating, let me tell you. And it brings associations it really shouldn't.
Anyway, pretty much all we did on those two days was go to Half-Price-Boooks, Thrift World, and accidentally ended up at the Vista Ridge mall...which really isn't very interesting, since it, like so many malls these days, finds it unnecessary to include a bookstore. Fucking illiterate America, fine, go spend all your money on trendy clothes and shoes. There's enough stores that all look more or less the same here. God.
...though I ended up with another Hot Topic clearance rack skirt. Sigh. At least this one actually fits me.
Other things I've been doing...um, there's not much. I did read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, which was delightful. Other than that I've been really boring lately. I've been motivated to really work on stuff for A-kon though, which is good...I think I'll bring back the moogles after all. I really want to make a profit this time, though it'll be hard with paying for the damn hotel room if nobody else will stay in it...arghh.
...I don't suppose any of you are actually going to A-kon and would like to share a room with me and a couple other people? Or more than a couple, depending on how many I find. Rooms are too expensive to only split between three people! I don't mind sleeping in a corner if I have to. T_T
