This and that.
I'm too old for the faculty-staff scholarship I used to get for my dad working for UNT. Also, the school computer system hates me, and I think I was hanging around the desk for a short term loan for at least half an hour. It sucked. But I went thrifting afterwards, and didn't buy a skirt this time, although I was really tempted by a pink one. wtf I do not wear pink. But since I didn't have more than one shirt that would go with it, I was able to resist.
So, lately there's been a lot of gaming going on in the living room, during which I hang out there and mess around on mom's computer. This seems to result in me playing a lot of TextTwist while my brother is fighting ghosts and demons. Last night, the six letter word was locust, but we found slutco to be a better choice. Apparently we've decided it's a corporation that produces porn. Kyle came up with the slogan. "Here at SlutCo, we firmly believe that the customer comes first." At about that point I think I just about died and almost couldn't twist text anymore. *loses*
I painted a tote bag for someone my mom works with and got paid ten dollars more than I asked. It looks like this, but I ended up writing a name in katakana on it as well. Mom hasn't given me money for it yet though.
I seem to also be taking on an illustration/design commission for some kind of high school football yearbook something. Apparently with a Spartan theme or something? I have no idea how this is going to happen, but I guess maybe I should go rent 300 and hope it's inspiring. I really hope I'm up to this, I'm actually kind of worried. I have no idea what I'm doing. x_x
For some reason it has been decided that we are going to be spending a week at Dad's house right before school. I can think of no logical reason for this, but needless to say, I am very much not looking forward to it. I can only hope that there won't be any children there. I just want to know why. Why, why, WHY should we be wasting the LAST WEEK OF SUMMER lounging around Granbury playing with Dad's X-box? Argh, it makes me angry thinking about it.
I think I should probably just give up on that Suikoden cosplay I wanted to have done by AnimeFest. Not like anybody in Texas plays that game anyway. Goddammit. -_-
Umm...I guess that's about it for my updates. Ugh. Now I'm in a bad mood. And it's 2 already somehow. I wonder if there's anything to eat around here. Sigh.
