OMG. Today was absolutely exhausting, and there are not words for how much I suck at directions, so I think I will just provide you all with
this visual aid. I'm not exactly sure how far into Parker county we went, but that is definitely how far we ended up in Arlington. wtff. And that was JUST TO GET TO THE ASIAN MARKET. After which, I immediately started off in the wrong direction. -__-
I AM NEVER. EVER. EVER. TAKING FUCKING 820 TO FORT WORTH AGAIN. EVER.
ANYWAY. At some point along that route we randomly decided to hop into the 99 cent store, where I bought 3 rolls of Spree (since I can't FIND IT ANYWHERE EVER anymore), some small pruning shears (I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE, THORNY VINES BY THE GATE), and some ice cream shots. Basically, they are dippin' dots, only they're all vanilla, and had bits of cookie dough or something, whatever. They weren't very good, but oh well. But I was AWESOME and opened mine at the wrong end, even though it was clearly upside-down, and then opened it at the right end, because it was easier, but I had the sticker pull tab things from both mine and my brother's holding the bottom shut, but it didn't work very well, so I eventually used them to close the top again and just took the bottom the rest of the way off. XD; SO MUCH LOSE.
Eventually we got to Koko's, of course we had to call mom for directions at some point, but omg tonkatsu sauce. And apparently they do have a couple more flavors of pocky than they used to, but we didn't get any, though Men's Pocky continues to intrigue me. But I should have supplies for katsudon, curry, and dango now. And okonomiyaki, omg. It's been so long. D:
So, after we found our way back to Hulen in another ridiculously roundabout way, we hopped by Half-Price Books, Lone Star, and Office Max, where we learned we could redeem the ten empty ink cartridges we've been meaning to recycle for 3$ each. Mom and I have decided that means 30$ off that new printer I've been wanting, so I'm excited about that. :3 That was pretty much our last stop before coming home, not in the most direct fashion. Well, except for the grocery store, where we were only supposed to get bread and eggs, but strawberries were on sale, and I was unable to resist 2 pounds of them. :D; Apparently there is now some shortcake plan.
ANYWAY. I haven't eaten anything but a bowl of ramen and some ice cream and Spree all day, so I need to go cook some okonomiyaki, and then...I dunno, watch Stargate or something all night. Everybody's going off to see Snakes on a Plane, and I am very much not going tonight! D:
