NOW THAT IT WORKS AGAIN!

...I wrote this in notepad. :D;

----

wtf internet. Cutting out like that out of nowhere and then not fixing yourself is not acceptable. I was going to steal people, dammit. REALLY this time. T_T It's been put off long enough, and I was going to stop being such a wuss and be some sort of productive, finally. And now I'm afraid nobody's going to be around to steal when it comes back. Which it better do soon. >_> Bleh.

I am told we are in an area affected by outages, but I do not understand why the cable TV works and not the internet. Shouldn't both of them be out? Times like this, I wish I had a laptop with a wireless connection to go drag somewhere. If I lived in Denton... Sigh.

...And here I am writing an entry in notepad while things are nonfunctional. I'm such a loser. Things to ramble about that occurred when I was offline.

  • Dungeons and Dragons was on. The cartoon. At like, 6:00. PM. wtf, how are they airing that at a time that is not 4 in the morning? XD We've never played the game, though we've always wanted to, but we're pretty certain "Presto" the wizard has never heard the phrase "magic missile" and my brother suspects that the alignment of all these kids is "neutral-whiny". Seriously, how did the pussiest one of all of them get the fighter class? And what does the redhead girl actually DO?
  • Went with mom to Fort Worth to pick up car. Apparently she crashed all the computers at Pep Boys. :D Fortunately, for once I remembered the rule for whenever you go somewhere to get a car fixed: Bring a book. Since getting back home I've finished reading The Count of Monte Cristo, which I hadn't touched since the way back home from Canada. I wanna watch Gankutsuou again. XD;
  • So, watching dubbed!Naruto...and Orichimaru shows up.

    Kat: "Look at me! I'm so evil I have pink fire!"
    Kyle: And organ music.
    Kat: Yeah, that's exactly how you know he's evil, he gets the organs.
    Kat: ................*die*

    I've been totally and completely RUINED. D: Also, I WANT MY SPLEEN BACK!
  • I had no idea there was a Chuck Norris cartoon. "Karate Kommandos" evidently. Oh god, it was painful to watch. Especially because he hangs out with a samurai and a sumo wrestler and battles "Super Ninja." Such incompetence. You see, this is why I sided with the pirates. AND WHAT WAS HE WEARING??? So, he started out the episode with live action footage of him lifting weights and getting all sweaty and then he gives an "everybody makes mistakes" speech. Strangely enough, while this is assumed to be the moral of the episode, as it was repeated at the end, it had very little to do with anything at all. In fact, the events during the cartoon were completely incomprehensible. It started off on a boat, and the ninjas destroyed some satellite dish, and the bad guys made a satellite crash on an island where they had enlisted the help of a voodoo man and his army of zombies. I really have no idea what was going on. (I finally figured out the true mistake, though: Signing on for his own action cartoon.) WHAT WAS HE WEARING???
  • Mr. T, on the other hand, is much better at lessons. Or at least having a cartoon that actually has something to do with the live action sequence. Which was about not wasting food because people in Africa are starving. Him and his team went to go see them personally, but the charity food was stolen to be sold on the black market for exorbitant prices. No matter how you look at this, that is not a good business venture. If they can't afford food in the FIRST PLACE, then how are you going to get more money out of them by doing that? In any case, Mr. T and his gymnastic buddies had to retrieve the food, in the meantime chasing people aimlessly through a desert and having to go hungry themselves. (Naturally, their gymnastics did not suffer.) Did you know you can just cut up a cooked snake into circles and then eat the pieces like cookies? Snakes don't have bones, after all. Perhaps it was a rare breed of wafer-snake. Naked Snake, you are not.
And there is the account of various things from this weekend. I miss the internet. So very much. This is ridiculously distressing, omg. T_T I hope when I get back people will be around and not busy. I require RP. ;_;

PS, Steph.

I feel the need to mention that this filename originally had another letter indicating a possessive in it, but I really could not leave it in there or I might have died.
