Problem: The driver side window in the car ceases to go up. Only down. Every time you try to fix it, the problem gets worse. This is an issue that has persisted for several weeks, and which should have been resolved while in Granbury.

So, the person who looks at it says that the motor is not functioning. He manages to make the window go up and clamp it in place, though. So, we go order a new part from a place in town. It comes, and it turns out some idiot's put a passenger-side motor in a drivers-side box. SO the guy who was going to fix it goes ahead and orders another motor that will not arrive until Wednesday, a day after the latest we intended to leave.

Wednesday goes like this: Dad wakes me up to tell me the motor is there. I wake Kyle up so we can go get it. We get there, they say they're about to go to lunch, so we go kill an hour and a half. We come back, they tell us they need the old one, which is not in the car, but has been taken out of it for some reason and is in the garage at home. So we have to go back and get it. Our house is CLEAR ACROSS TOWN from this place. They are in the sticks at opposite ends of the dump that is Granbury. After retrieving that, we wait a while at the shop, and it turns out that they got the wrong motor as well, and the right one will cost maybe twice as much. There is a resounding cry of "FUCK IT!" and we hightail it out of town with a nonfunctioning, but closed, window. It's late afternoon by the time we get back.

So that was the main adventure of the week. The rest was just boring. If it hadn't been for The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes I would have gone completely insane. The only gaming system is an X-Box, for some unknown reason. Kyle got Soul Calibur III for christmas, and I picked up Rhapsodia FINALLY when we were at GameStop, confirming my suspicion that I REALLY SHOULD have just got it when it first CAME OUT instead of waiting for something that wasn't going to happen. So, two PS2 games, and our PS2 was miiiles away.

On a more positive note...I DID get a digital camera for christmas! BUT. I managed to leave EVERYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH IT in a box in Granbury. So, any pictures on it? Stay on it until I get that. Not that there's anything interesting on it. There are photos of the weather which I was going to share in case my friends up north need further proof of how much Texas sucks.

In other news, I have many many hearts for Bianca.

So, here they are: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Aaanyway. That's probably as much a report on the last week as is going to happen. Not much else happened, although I did get lectured and walked out on my dad when he started suggesting doctors again. Almost left town right there.

There was a lot of movie watching going on, because there's NOTHING ELSE TO DO there. So, I saw for the first time War of the Worlds, Batman Begins, The Brothers Grimm, Sin City and I think that's it. Also went out to see Narnia, too. And...let's not speak of The Calamari Wrestler.

And NOW I'm done. And I'm back. And I have too much to get caught up on. I need much RPing, I think. Ugh. x_x
