ZOMG.... Sci-Fi is showing Yami no Matsuei........! I had forgotten how much I LOVE YnM....

The dubbing is made of fail, though. Holy shit.. Muraki sounds like some insane Dick Dastardly/gay Dracula...it's awful. And Hisoka is a whiny, nasally teenager... UGH. AWFUL.

But, wow...they showed the whole Muraki/Hisoka sex scene.

Heh. I didn't think Hisoka was that bad, but Muraki... Oh, Lord. There are no words for that... performance.

RIGHT? It was.....stunning. Like, do I laugh or cry? He wasn't sinister at all! :{ I wasn't a fan of Hisoka. He was too nasally for me... I dunno, I guess the Japanese one was damn near perfect and it's hard to compare.

Agreed. It is one of the best series I have ever seen. Everything was just amazing. The animation, characters, plot, music.

I loved YnM in English. *shrug* I can't help it; I liked all the voice acting. I liked Muraki's voice because it reminded me of Hannibal Lecter :-)

I do see the Lecter resemblance. Have you heard it in the original Japanese, though? I'm not a purist, I do like some dubs! But...no, to this one. ^^;; You have to hear Japanese Muraki.
