I have done as the Village People suggested and gone west. Sadly, I cannot confirm as to whether life is peaceful here, but the weather's nice ... a fair amount of the time. Presenting a training course at the Perth office, but due to the lack of convenient direct flights back on Friday mean I get to spend Saturday in town too =D Meeting up with my Aunt for lunch on Saturday, and get to scout out the late night shopping tomorrow.
And the 2-hour time difference means getting up at 7am isn't too hard, either ;)
