We found a random multi-user-free-video chat program. Its called MeBeam, and is flash. Gave it a test tonight and it seemed quite workable. I have no idea what their buisness model is though.

If you give it a go, ensure you set your settings (including noise cancellation!). We gave up and did audio via skype before we found that button.
