If anyone is looking for something to do the next few weeks come check out the play Tape..
here is a excerpt taken from the gainesville weekly's review about the play..
"Tape" Will Twist Your Moral Fibers
By Daniel Mills

High school is a human petri dish. It is a sprawling
identity crisis that is rife with young life and
crawling with tiny precursors to adulthood. In many
ways, it is teeming with infectious diseases - peer
pressure, delinquency, rock and roll, apathy, sex,
drugs and procrastination.

We had no idea of who we were or what we stood for
back then; our moral structure took a bit longer to
develop than our bodies did. The missteps of our
youth, we hope, are forgotten and forgiven in time.
Unfortunately for Jon Saltzman, one of his high school
buddies won't let his mistakes remain buried.

For the next few weeks, Jon's ghosts will be exhumed
for your viewing pleasure from Thursdays to Saturdays
at the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre. The quaint venue
provides the setting for "Tape," an imposing
psychological drama presented by Thursday Afternoon
Productions that deals with the persistence of memory
and close friends. It revolves around the tangled
triangle of Jon, his oldest friend Vince, and a mutual
flame they shared from their school days, Amy Randell.

Tape" will be playing at the ART until Nov. 20.
Tickets start at $7 (for students)
and can be purchased at Omni Books
and Book Gallery West. Driving directions are posted
on Acrosstown's Web site, www.acrosstown.org.
