Took a break from writing
After I left work early on Weds, I went to Aragorn's place, because RC was there. RC told him everything, and in a bit more detail than I'd asked for. For starters, RC has a complex because his Father passed when RC was very young, and he misses him badly, So that kind of explains the hangup. I told him that since he has relatives (uncles n aunts) within driving distance to go see them, and find out more about his dad, and not to be afraid to do it. He then mentioned why he doesn't have sex with me, but it was countered by the fact that he did with Ben. One thing he mentioned, tho, was when he texted Ben on Monday to meet with us, Ben replied back "Is it going to be a productive meeting?" Had I known that, I probably would have punched the kid for thinking we were gunna have a 3 way :P
I then proceeded to take a 2 hour nap, since the half hour of sleep I got Weds morning didn't cut it while I was at work. I awoke to hear him calling counseling places, and altho he found a few, I wanted him to go thru the local Pride center. They have recommendations, and I would be afraid that if we went to someone that wasn't Gay friendly, it would hurt more than help. So he emailed them...no reply as of yet. He called them yesterday...no one answered. He went there..no one was there, and the door said by appointment only. Gee..thanks. I sent them a note on FB, since that's their bigger presence than their website, kinda pissed that there was no one to help.
Anyhow.
I went to Mom's last night, and filled her in on what has happened. It really was creepy talking to her about my sex life (or lack thereof), but she didn't cringe. She follows me on FB as well, so she figured out most of it. She too, thinks its going to take a lot of work for Aragorn and I to again trust RC, but she's very happy that we're going to try counseling. She also thinks that I do have depression characteristics, and that I will be able to get help with that. RC and I aslo know that the counseling may not work, and that's scaring us, but we both hope it does. At the very least, I hope it helps RC with this complex over his Father.
