I feel like I could and maybe should be venting about my life. About how I'm feeling about my job, and my future, and in general my social situation. But to be honest, I grumble about that stuff a lot and I just don't want to go there. Even if it's in my mind-- I just don't feel like typing about it. And I feel like nobody wants to read about it anyway. That's not fair of me, I know-- my flist has put up with a lot of whining and bullshit from me and done so with a lot of support and good humor and I love you guys for it, but that's just the crabby mood I'm in.
Instead, I choose to grumble about the WWE draft. Since I only watch Smackdown, not Raw, it pisses me off that they're trading all the cool talent to Raw. I'm losing Jericho (a sometimes entertaining heel) and R-Truth (entertaining in ring- even though I'm sick of his entrance theme) and Edge (possibly the best mic performer in WWE) and John Morrison (fun to watch in ring, and nice eye candy as well). And who do I get in return? Kelly Kelly (a draft spot wasted on a diva-- urg!) Kofi Kingston (never seen him before-- jury's still out), Big Show (who has been making his money by being the big guy half of tag teams) and Christian (the only glimmer of hope-- he may be ok).
Seriously-- I wanted so badly to get rid of CM Punk and Jack Swagger and Crime Tyme. I wanted to get Christian so they could reunite Edge and Christian (but now they're on different shows again) or get Miz so they could reunite Miz and Morrison (which they may, but on Monday-- arrg!) or keep Edge, Matt Hardy and Drew McIntyre because Matt had a twitter message that sounded like he and Edge might team up against McIntyre. Dude, if you knew the backstory (backstage real life stuff, not just their plots) of Matt Hardy and Edge, you'd understand why that sounded like the most potentially awesome thing ever. But no-- WWE has completely let me down. I'm actually really surprised-- they didn't move much of anyone to Smackdown-- they usually mix it up with veterans and new guys, big stars and mid-card guys. I feel like Smackdown viewers totally got shafted. My only hope is that without moving too many of the huge stars over, they'll finally give the belts to people I've been rooting for (Matt Hardy!! Kane!) who always seem to get screwed.
