(no subject)
So there was a puppy in our house today. As you may know, we're not exactly pet people. But the neighbor's dog was roaming around our property, and he looked lost, and he was hanging out on our deck and wouldn't go anywhere. So mom went down to the neighbor's while I kept an eye on the dog, and as soon as she left he slinked past me and into the kitchen. Great.
Now, the houses in our area all kind of look the same. We figured that this poor dog was confused. He sniffed everything, tried jumping on the furniture (at least I got him off easily enough; he'd bolt whenever I approached) and it felt like forever until Mom came back and the neighbor retrieved him. But I've got to say, that little beagle looked quite adorable scampering around our house. (When he went back outside, he discovered the giant field beside the house and the poor neighbor had to go after him.)
Yeah okay, I can see how people want pets. Too bad the poor thing was terrified by us.
