Traveling man
I'm in Chicago for the weekend. I'm going to see Wicked this afternoon. I'm really excited because this is the first of many trips to come in the next few months. Conference season is great.
Trips:
Chicago, IL (fun, now)
Pittsburgh, PA (fun,
Florida (fun, August)
San Fran, CA (fun, September)
?Valencia, Spain (conference, November)
?Columbus,OH (conference, November)
Anaheim, CA (conference, ?job interview, January)
Spring wants
Seattle (fun)
Madison (conference)
DC (both)
Sadly I'll probably only get to go to either Valencia or Columbus because there is overlap in conference times, so unless I get to present the first day at one and the last of the other, I'll have a tough choice to make. Obviously I'd like to go to Valencia much more, but the most important conference as far as professional development is concerned is definitely NWAV at Ohio State. I'm hoping to only get offered a poster instead of a paper at IGALA since they're more selective to make me less sad about having to choose Ohosia. (of course for ego reasons, I better damn well be chosen for a paper at both!)
