16 cents, brahms and bags
midnight- I found a 4 hand piano recording of Brahms Requiem, and im listening to it at work. I have pretty much this half of the callcenter to myself so nobody looks at me all funny unless they happen to call or approach the area. its nice. ambiance and all. its cool to have something to hum along to while you work- and instead of brittany spears or gnarls barkley, I have Brahms.
10:15p- im at Diedrich montrose with ben. Sprint, after all day system problems is able to pull my account and tell me that the reason ive been without service all day is because of a 16 cent past due amount that i had to charge to my debit card. i hope beyond all hope that it cost them more to process than theyll make.
4:00p- network planning continues at a slow ass pace. i need to simplify the process instead of jumping in at the middle during an upgrade. im going back and redoing as much planning as im getting done. headway is sucking. but ben gave me a really nice bag for my stuff so i forgot about it.
3:00 i got back from a really easy doctors office visit. this time i dont go back for 3 months and i think after that im done. they say im healing really really well, and ive only got good things to report, so my time with them is soon to end i guess. i should send them a fruit basket.
ps: Id forgotten how wonderful the fugue from Brahms req is. just beautiful. and thinking about the fact that two people are playing closely entwined enough to pull off these crazy combinations blows my mind. way to go muscians, your craft is truly underappreciated sometimes.
