we're settled in more now to 781 madison. anyone who hasn't seen yet should come and visit soon. i haven't gotten a real job yet. i thought i had one, but he hasn't called me to give me an assignment yet. i will get to go help old people. i will explain further if anyone is interested.. but i'm assuming noone is that bored..
about every few hours an ambulance blares by. at least three times a week a fire engine startles me. about once a day a weird man walks by and raps his own shit outloud for anyone to hear. or he doesn't know everyone can hear. yesterday i was sitting on the steps and a lady walked by and i tried to say bc she looks distressed.. but she was talking to herself and gave no notice to me or christina.
also, these guys stopped in their minivan and tried to talk to us while we were on the steps. the one in the passenger side yelled out "hey baby i wanna ask you a question" so i said "come here and ask" but the light turned green so they left. a few minutes later, he came around the corner again and actually parked and got out. he came over and did some small talk. he wasn't that bad looking but then the driver got out. it was this 16 year old kid who came over to christina "hey i like you!" and i said "what are you 18" and he said yes which was clearly a lie. and he professed his love again and christina laughed at him and told him to get away. but Armond, the guy trying to talk to me seemed somewhat ok so i gave him my number for shits and giggles. he called me a few hours later and i said i was too busy to do anything. the little brother called me back a couple days later pretending to be Armond but i could easily tell it wasn't him bc he had more of a german accent and he tried to get me to go out to dinner with his family.
the guys across the street drink beer on their porch every evening after they get out of work. i am afraid to go talk to them bc i had tried to parrallel park in front of them but i can't preform with an audience and botched it up and one of them actually said "only a woman" so needless to say i can't feel cool around them for at least a few more weeks.
bombers is actually really packed on weekdays bc of all their events like trivia night. i met a nice midwestern guy there named Wesley who is interning at albany med. he is going to help me learn about microarray.. he looks kinda of like steven from RR las vegas but a little less muscle and more preppy.
oh and last night at happy hour i met a couple guys with amy and christina. one of them was my pool partner at cagney's awhile back and karen was his friend's partner but she was wasted. does anyone remember them? they go to st rose. so we actually agreed to go to itchibans with them for some reason.
