language imposes crippling limitations. when someone has possibly somewhat overcome this obstacle, they are applauded because "i couldn't have said it better myself" and you can get an incredibly warm feeling of enjoyment or even understanding, but are we ever really seeing it the same way the author intended?
unique personal experiences may have shaped our way of thinking to perceive a cluster of words to take on a certain meaning unlike someone else's opinions and personal experiences would allow them to do. with basic speech/communication, the meaning is understood. words carry the basic thought and human experience shapes it into the deeper understanding. feelings can only be understood after having felt them.
a good part of communication is perceived through other senses. tone and facial expressions are used but these can even be misleading. we still enjoy the words of who we label as good writers because it is entertaining or captures your own feelings into the best words possible. it can just feel right even if we don't perceive it in the same way originally derived in the conscience of the author
