I don't normally rec things here, but this was so lovely. The language the author uses to create scenes and feelings is so evocative and vivid. Her characters have so many dimensions, with a wonderful Merlin and an Arthur you adore even if he's an idiot, as well as a lovely Gwaine (!!!!), Lance, Gwen, Gauis, Will, and more. What I like most about it is how it captures the complete and utter confusion and uncertainty involved in liking someone, and how it can be painful and awkward and also passionate and wonderful.
This is a terrible summary but just go read it, it's so unbelievably lovely I want to go back in a time machine and read it for the first time all over again. GO READ IT NOW.
