OMG WTF VMA?
I am SO not usually into this, and I don't really even like Taylor Swift, but I was in the lobby because of insomnia and the MTV video music awards came on and shit was happening so I watched. And, wow. DRAMA.
You'll probably be hearing about it, so here's the DL:
Earlier in the show, Swift won the Best Female Video award for "You Belong With Me" over B's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)." But during her acceptance speech, Kanye West crashed the stage, took the microphone from her and protested the win, saying Beyoncé deserved it.
Beyoncé told the audience about her first VMA win as a 17-year-old with Destiny's Child and how much it meant to her. The singer then called Swift from backstage to huge applause. [source]
