Tony

For those of you who don't know, Tony had a stroke earlier today. We were able to get her to the hospital early enough to get TPA for her. TPA is a drug they call the "clot buster". She is responding to the TPA well. We were told it has a 6-8% (which is one out of twelve) of people die from the drug. Therefore, it was a very hard decision to make. However, we knew it was the right choice for her. We think she is out of the water for the most part, but they are watching her very carefully overnight.

Tony's right side is affected. They will have several therapists check her out tomorrow morning -- speech, occupational and physical. For those of you who knew and have sent energy, prayers, good thoughts, etc. thank you. For those who have called and I didn't get back to you, thank you for the support and please understand that I only had enough energy to call her family members and my mother. Otherwise, all my energy had to be focused on Tony's healing. With that in mind, I ask not to receive a lot of phone calls. I will try to keep everyone posted as much as possible through here, the whitehart yahoo group, and facebook.

Also, Walkir does not know yet what has happened. He is staying with Catherine and Chuck. Therefore, if you happen to be there, please don't mention anything to him until I have a chance to let him know what is going on with his mother.

Blessings,
Mark
