Name: Haruki (Haru).
Age: He's 24 but looks like a 14 year old girl.

Fandom: Fire Candy - Manga
Timeline: Post-canon. Fire Candy is an unfinished manga that only had two books. At the end of it, there are still a lot of questions unanswered, but one of his best friends had just cut the head off of one of his FORMER best friends and walked off.
History: K SO humanity is on the brink of dying out, right? Maybe not so much dying out, but because of all the 'illogical sex' they have, the majority lost their ability to procreate. And that would obviously be a bad thing. So to save themselves from extinction, humanity found a way to use animals to basically 'fill in the gap.' Human genes were mingled with animal genes to create hybrid humans -- and although they aren't pureblooded, the threat of their race dying out completely was thwarted. But while this was the salvation for mankind -- people are generally pricks and tend to discriminate against those that they don't understand. Thus a hatred was born amongst the majority, and the halfs (which is the derogatory term for these human-animal hybrids) tend to lean toward the feeling being mutual. While there seems to be a fight for equal rights between halfs and pureblood humans, inequality still runs rampant through the general disdain both races hold toward each other.
When 'Fire Candy' hit the market, it was legal at first -- a stimulant that was said to be harmless to humans.
But as time went on and the adverse effects included spontaneous human combustion, well a ban was placed on it. Didn't matter who a person was or how many times they used the drug, the threat of this sort of death was imminent. But due to its highly addictive nature, even this knowledge still didn't deter people from using it. So we got the drugs. Let's move on to the sex.
Enter Haru(ki).
Haru is sweet. Haru is innocent. Haru is a 24-year-old, bisexual, male prostitute/quarter lynx who looks like a flat-chested, 14-year-old female. Should I mention he's also divorced and has a kid? Or maybe he's lying about the divorced thing. See, Fire Candy is discontinued and we are left with a lot of open-ended questions. What we DO know is that 10 years before the canon point, there was a gang that went by the name Platinum. This gang did gang stuff, you know like hurt people -- destroyed a police squad and lynched a teammate who ratted on them. The gang itself had less than 30 members, but they were ruthless and rose above many others to become 'legendary.' Their youngest member went by the title 'The Platinum Lynx.' Any guess as to who this is???
Haruki was vicious as a kid. He was one of the gang's top members at just fourteen years old and he could kill. Oh boy, he could kill...and got off doing so. Sadism ran in his blood, which (as he often remarked to the gang leader Lloyd) ran red...just like a human. It made him feel alive.
There was a rift in Platinum, and after internal conflicts...the gang split up. The Platinum Lynx was rumored to have been killed, though the fact of the matter was something unmentioned led him and Lloyd down separate paths. With Lloyd rising as a powerful criminal lord and one of the main controllers of the fire candy, Haru went on to meet a woman sometime between then and knock her up with his presumably shota mini-me. (We never do find out much about this child....at all). Immediately after she gave birth, however, she and Haru were assaulted by a former member of Platinum (Tetsu), drugged and gang-raped. The whole ordeal was videotaped and sold underground.
Years later, Haru is a male prostitute who becomes attracted to the main protagonist of Fire Candy -- Ryoki -- simply because of the violence the young teenager liked to inflict. He meets Leo, who is Ryoki's best friend, at the whore house he works at and while Leo is under the misconception that he is a female, Haru shamelessly reveals that he is indeed a male. He realizes that Leo hangs around Ryoki, and basically blackmails him into introducing them.
Needless to say, for the sake of his masculinity and pride, Leo takes Haru to the group where Haru jumps Ryoki and greets him with a kiss -- tongue and all. This pisses off Yuukito (a girl who is in love with Ryoki) and she challenges him to a race using motor blades (basically motorized skates). Long story short, Haru rescues Yuukito, they start an epic (not so much) rivalry for Ryoki's affection, and Haru has joined the party!
Ryoki and company eventually come to believe that the prices of the Fire Candy are much too high, and decide to take it upon themselves to enter a drug war for lack of better words. This would, of course, mean they would go against Lloyd...and while Haru initially has his reserves concerning this, he decides to stick with the gang -- after all, they're just kids who don't exactly know what they're going up against.
Character Personality: Haru is your classic, bubbly comic-relief character. The only difference is that he comes in a completely not-so-classic package. While part of him is very jovial, childish, and exuberant, another part of him is sadistic, bloodthirsty, and ruthless -- though it probably comes with the territory of being a half -- and the part in between and overlapping both is a huge pervert. While Haru is 24, he doesn't typically act his age. There are moments where he'll showcase maturity, but other moments where he will enthusiastically catch birds and call them pigeons (of course, it was a crow...but he wasn't exactly an ace in school). As a matter of fact, he never attended high school which was a remark he made when visiting Ryoki in his. But while he isn't book smart, he is street smart -- something that could be expected not only from a prostitute but from an ex-gang member.
He can be playfully obnoxious and particularly rude, especially if there is a girl intruding on the guy he wants. While jealousy isn't typically something a sex pro would feel, all bets tend to be off when it comes to Ryoki. It's not just Ryoki that he's attracted to, but the sadistic enjoyment that lights up his face when he hurts people. Haru is a bit of a masochist. His entire reasoning behind kissing Ryoki in the first place is because he wants him to try and kill him. Destruction and blood are his aphrodisiacs. But he is perfectly capable of having normal sex, and Haru certainly doesn't discriminate against who he hits on. He'll typically greet his companions with a kiss, full mouth...tongues and all.
Haru's appears to have an addictive personality. Drugs are something that are a fact, as he is often seen with a tube of the liquid (fire candy) in his mouth. But on the flip side, he also appears to have a sex addiction. This may have stemmed from his blood lust and gang days, or it may have been triggered by the gang rape -- which he apparently got off on. But he appears to have no guilt or shame over what he does as a prostitute -- and the only time it affects him is when, in a rage over Haru kissing Ryoki, Yuukito calls him a filthy, disgusting whore. And violence? Well, does that need to be mentioned? Haru may have suppressed his nature as the platinum lynx, but just his attraction to Ryoki alone proves that he can't seem to stay away from his lust for violence and bloodshed.
Character Abilities: Haru doesn't have any special powers or moves, but he does have superior strength and agility -- mainly due to the animal blood flowing in his veins. He can easily use just his bare hands to claw, slice, or tear at flesh (and he enjoys doing it, too). It seems that his reflexes are heightened and he has an ability to jump much higher than the average human. He enjoys inflicting and receiving pain, and the more blood he sees...the more he wants to see, which in turn might be a driving force to make him a bit stronger (sort of like a berserker mode).
It isn't necessarily a power, but he's highly skilled sexually. Having been a prostitute for many years, Haru knows the ins and outs of just about every position. He's flexible (both physically and positionally) and will gladly use this to his advantage. Sex gets information and since he doesn't think of his body as anything more than a useful device, he really doesn't have standards. Preferences? Of course. Standards? Nope.
But while he can be blinded by violence or blood lust, he does seem to be able to handle himself in certain situations. He understands when he's in over his head, and the moments he snaps -- it seems more out of a desire to protect his friends than anything.
Character Weaknesses: Haru's major weakness is that he's a drug addict. Going without Fire Candy will surely cause him to go through withdrawal symptoms or replace it with some other form of drug. He also has a weakness when it comes to his bloodlust -- Haru really can't help but be turned on by extreme violence and want to participate in it -- even if it's at the cost of his friends. An example is when Leo goes berserk and kills someone (even though he doesn't want to) -- Haru stands back and laughs with enjoyment, no matter how much it bothers Leo that he's doing so.
He's also very human when it comes down to it, even if he is a quarter lynx. The animal blood does very little to enhance his own mortality. He bleeds the same and can die the same. And considering the fact that he was a Candy user for so many years, he's like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. He could burst into flames and die at any moment -- though I suppose BREW would put that on hold temporarily.
He's not very intelligent when it comes to anything that isn't street smarts and fighting. He's likely to fail any and all written tests given to him at Shibusen. I mean, he thinks crows are pidgeons...so yeah. Stein's class? He won't be cutting it there. Even though he would really, really love dissections.

Why your character should be a Weapon: I believe Haru is better suited as a weapon because it would be funny. Oh wait, that's probably not a proper response. Haha, but down on a psychological level? He's adaptable. As a weapon, he would easily be able to match his wavelength to be compatible with just about anyone. He doesn't mind being used because while he does love fighting and is quite capable of the physical aspects of it, he also enjoys watching others fight. And in the end, being a weapon would probably satisfy his violent streak better than being a meister because he really is the one doing the damage -- especially considering he's a firearm.

And that is basically what Haru will be. A phallic, crotch-mounted pistol. He's attached by a red leather belt around the waist, and much like in the video -- he is covered up by a black-studded compartment which opens to take aim. The barrel of the gun itself is roughly seven inches, and has a flexibility to it -- being bendable so that it can take better aim. Much like the Thompson sisters, Haru doesn't shoot actual bullets but his own wavelength.
When in resonance mode, Haru's belt will wrap around his partner's arm and the gun part of him elongates to rifle-length, allowing much more powerful shots (and a less embarrassing form) -- of course the drawback to this is that firing off his soul wavelength takes a bit longer than when he is in his original form.

Soul Description: sadistic, masochistic, strong, optimistic, seductive, sociable.
Soul Appearance: Haru's soul is pure white with dark grey spots all across it and tufted lynx ears. It tends to remain at a calm, easy-going state...but when in bloodlust/battle, it will appear frenzied and vicious.

[ Haru looks confused as he's fiddling around with communicator. He's got his tongue pinched between his teeth as he hits a few buttons, cutting out the feed, turning it back on, and repeating this a couple of times. It takes him a few seconds to realize that there's a video function and it's rolling. A large grin appears on his face, revealing slightly elongated canines. ]
Oh, hi guys! So I've noticed a considerable lack of porn on this DEMISE network thingy. Could just be me. I'm not really computer savvy or nothing. Actually, this is the first computer I've ever had~! But I got bored and wanted to look up something and couldn't figure out how to find it. But then, I got this better idea. I mean, they got a video function, right? Annnnd I'm sure there are ton of you that're lonely, riiiight? I'm even feeling generous and would offer discounts. We could make our own video! [ A beat. ]
Hahaha, I'm just kidding! [ Except, he's probably not really ] Anyway, my name's Haru! And I'm a quarter cat and a sex pro. Third Person:
Haru stood there, mouth agape as he watched his newest companion slice the head clean off of his oldest companion. His oldest companion and rapist. And everything was red. Tetsu's body, Ryoki's skin and clothing, the floor -- red, red blood. An uncontrollable arousal pulsed through Haru's veins. There was a part of him that felt a sick satisfaction at the sight of it, a part of him that felt a jealousy over not being the one to do it, and a small part of him that mourned for Tetsu. A sick and twisted part of Haru would always love that bastard in spite of what was done to him.
But as Ryoki parted ways, abandoning them with a severed head in his hands, Haru thought that he should stop him. He thought that he should run out the door, grab Ryo by the shoulders and drag him back inside because he was just about to advertise her murdered someone -- walking out onto the streets holding a Tetsu by the hair with fresh blood still dripping from his separated neck. Haru would be damned if he didn't care about the kid's well-being. He'd killed before, and he knew the most important rule about killing was never getting caught. And yet, whether it was the shock of the situation or a fear of being dragged down with Ryoki...his feet remained glued to the floor.
But when he blinked, it happened so fast. At first, he wondered if he was hallucinating. It wasn't uncommon for a drug-induced high. Maybe it was a bad trip. Okay, it HAD to be a bad trip. This definitely wasn't the room he was in before. No, it was dark and it was red. And in the air? There was the faintest stench of old blood -- not the new blood that had painted everything in its path. And while those two things in combination were normally okay, for some reason Haru was wary. Had the weight of the situation somehow triggered this? His hand moved up, threading into silver strands.
And then he became aware of something. A voice. Someone talking. Someone, who...for a moment Haru had mistaken for one of his friends -- except it wasn't. He stared at the red-haired death scythe blankly, blinking once or twice. He wasn't distorted or a misshapen blur...no, he was very much real. Which meant this room? This was really happening, wasn't it?
"I'm sorry. Repeat that. Like...all of it. From the beginning," Haru swallowed his feelings, swallowed all the negativity down because that was what he did best. The quarter lynx put on a sly, flirty grin, "And before all that, can you tell me the going rate for prostitutes here? A guy's gotta make his money, you know."
