i feel like so much has happened this year. i cannot comprehend how it is october already, and in a few months it will be november. 2018 has been a whirlwind of good news, starting with my engagement (holy crap!!), to a job promotion and all other happy and positive bits in between. it's kind of funny how i never imagined my life going /this/ well ( Read more... )

i know exactly how you feel. nowadays, sho/jun interaction is normal (!!) and new fans think that they actually did not have that awkward/estranged phase at all. which is good i guess, but man did we have a hard time shipping them back then. back then just eye contact between jun and sho was enough to make me happy. now they have duets! how far we have come haha

oh man, i rewatched the 5x10 concert last week and they were listing down all the stuff that happened to them for their first 10 years and i couldn't believe that VS Arashi was part of it. it's crazy how that show is more than 10 years airing. we were fans during the time shukudaikun was airing and even that seems so long ago. the bit about how we're not as old as arashi makes me feel a little better though so thank you for that hahaha

yes! twitter and tumblr are both nice social platforms, but i use twitter when i want to say random things that pop in my head and i go to tumblr to look at gifs. there is no in between. i think the reason why i can't let go of my lj is just when the emotions i feel get out of control (especially the fangirl-y kind) there is nowhere to go but lj. this is why i still post even if most of my friends aren't active here anymore lol

you are so very lucky! i have been to japan before, but since i don't have any friends residing there, i can't get in the fanclub. here's to hoping you get into their next con! and yes, i am forever hopeful. going to an arashi concert is one of the top things in my bucket list. my friends and i were talking about it a few months ago and we were all talking about how going to an arashi concert will probably when our lives would peak--i couldn't agree more. somehow, someday, we will get to see them live ♥

arashi rambles are always welcome! it's kind of obvious i miss flailing with someone about them too haha!
