westkitsune and i met up at McDonalds in Eastwood. she came straight from work while i took a detour home before i went there. we ate dinner to pass the time. i didn't take pictures because that would seem overeager ._.

the two of us decided to go and check out the venue for the 2AM Grand Showcase. when we got there we were both like WTF IS THIS because the park is filled with plant boxes, benches and there was an insane fountain that took up quite a lot of space. we couldn't really comprehend how this was going to be a venue for a mini concert :| at this time, i was also talking to jillian on my phone lol :D
we then asked the security guard nearby for concert details. he told us that the set up will start in the wee hours of the morning. this conversation also happened

H: Magaling ba talaga sila [2AM]? (Are they really good?)
L: Opo, kuya! Sobrang galing. (But of course! They're really good.)
H: Mas magaling pa sa F4? (Even better than F4?)

at this point, westkitsune and i agreed that we needed internet to survive the all nighter. this led to a search for a coffee shop. for some reason, we totally ignored the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf store right in front of the venue but whatever. we found another Coffee Bean franchise nearby and there we bought yummy shakes and youtube-d funny things.

we both checked out the facebook page for the 2AM in Manila gig, and we got intimidated with all the people talking about how they got into the meet and greet shows the previous days and how early they went and etc etc. being the over-competitive fangirls that we are, we decided to go to the venue early.

we arrive at the venue and see the people setting up. there was no one there.

at this point, we both were running out of things to talk about and we were being eaten alive by mosquitos. i was also feeling really tired. we spent the next few hours talking to the people setting up, the security guards and apparently (we didn't know lol) one of the organizers. the organizer totally went O_O at the knowledge that we arrived 15 hours early for the show. he told us to go back home and just come back later.

the people were nice. they joked with us and they talked about the most random things with us.

the next few hours were spent chatting, me playing lyric legend and taking short naps. the organizer guy told us that because we came SO early, if there were free seats in the VIP section he would totally give them to us |D
while waiting, michi made me write a cheesy letter to jo kwon *u*

the security guards were nice enough to give us a share of their breakfast (McDonalds deliver them this large box of breakfast goodies lol) so we had (really bitter) coffee and (really oily) mayonnaise with ham. that woke me up real good :| but free breakfast yay :D
at this time, there were two girls who arrived at the venue. they were both nice and friendly :)
ALSO THE CUTEST DOGS ARE IN EASTWOOD. case in point

there were less than 30 people on the venue that michi and i were worried. lol. we totally tweeted panicky WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE messages ahaha. but whatever. once the people knew we arrived at 2AM, they were nice enough to save our spots first in line :) the organizers arrived and they started to set up the booth where they sold albums :D
just to inform you guys, you have to buy an album that would serve as your ticket to the show :) the organizers then told us that we could buy VIP status (for which they are reserving 30 seats) if you buy two albums and a shirt...
...OH WE WERE SO SOLD. actually we debated a bit because it was cloudy that day and we were already tired as it is D:

the people started to come during lunch time but at that time we were already lining up for VIP *u* we were hanging around the bridge near 2AM's dressing room. AND THEN PEOPLE STARTED YELLING AND OH MY FUCKING GOD. PERFECTION WALKING ON LAND.
I. SERIOUSLY. I DON'T HAVE PICTURES BUT THEY ARE SO SO SO BEAUTIFUL. CHANGMIN WAS SO SPARKLY. SEULONG WAS HOT AS FUCK. JINWOON WAS ADORABLE. AND I SWEAR TO GOD I WANTED TO KIDNAP KWON THEN AND THERE. THEY PASSED BY (ANOTHER) BRIDGE LEADING TO THEIR STAGE AASJDBJLADBASJKDBASJKDASD AND AAAHHH THEY WAVEDDDDD. AND THEY WERE HAPPY. HAPPY HAPPY FACES THAT WILL REMAIN WITH ME FOREVER :'D

right after we saw a glimpse of 2AM, we went back in line. the girls behind us told us that some reporter was asking who were the first ones to arrive on the venue. they honestly told us that there were people (namely, us) who arrived at 2AM. asdasbajksbds michi and i didn't want interviews because 1) we didn't take a bath or anything 2) no sleep 3) we are not looking the best rn :| the girls just pointed out who the reporter was and told us to just avoid him lol.
....he came back anyway .___.
after we assured that it was for a magazine and for their website (NOT TELEVISION, THANK GOD) we agreed to an interview. and because i totally lack sleep and was still shaken from seeing 2AM walking in front of me, this happened.

they started letting people in *_* we were provided the last two rows at the back, so we chose the ones closest to the stage. while waiting, their videos from their Saint O'Clock and I Was Wrong album were being played. we watched the music videos a bajillion times sjbkdlasdas :|

SHOW STARTS! :D there was an opening act before them (Krissy and Ericka) who were actually pretty good. and then BA-BAM. 2AMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
they sang 죽어도 못 보내 (Never Let You Go) first and i just died over and over and over again. i really have a video of the entire show so idk if i'll post that. but after that, they also sang 친구의 고백 (A Friend's Confession). then they were asked to introduce themselves. they each went "AKO SI [NAME HERE]" which is Tagalog for "I AM [NAME]" ♥ it's really nice to hear idols working hard to speak in a foreign language for their fans :") after self introductions, they went away for a bit lol.
while they were away, they played a video of changmin interviewing 2AM members if any other member has upset them before. both kwon and seulong reply no, but changmin pesters jinwoon telling him that jinwoon can be honest and all that. jinwoon then pours his heart out and says that there are TWO things that upset him before. first is, that HE'S NEVER SANG ANY OF THE SINGLES' CHORUSES (lolololol poor baby) this is why he started singing 2AM songs in karaokes lolol. second is that, all the other members have side projects except him. (aaww ;_;) he then called JYP and hitman bang, but no one would answer him (lolol poor jinwoon. your life is so hard). they used this to introduce 전활 받지 않는 너에게 (You Wouldn't Answer My Calls).
one thing i love about 2AM is that THEY SING JUST AS GOOD LIVE. no lie, changmin reaches all those notes, jo kwon projects the same way. everyone was just--their songs do not rely on anything but themselves. IT IS 100% REAL. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD.
after this changmin introduces the next song in english eeee *u* which is 미친 듯이 (Like Crazy) :D then they had an MC bit where the fans sang jinwoon (WHY NOT CHANGMIN >:|) happy birthday. this was slightly hilarious because
FIRST TRY: the audience went for the korean version but when we reached the 사랑하는... part we totally blanked. kwon smiled and taught us how to stretch jinwoon's name to four notes (which sounded nothing like jinwoon's name but i trust kwon ahahahaha)
SECOND TRY: following kwon's lead, we sang again but somehow, the audience wasn't synchronized ahahaha.
THIRD TRY: kwon just goes "OK! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU--"
oh god jo kwon, i love you forever ♥ they also sang an acapella (holy shit eargasm you guys) version of INCOMPLETE sdjabsdsd ♥ they are so good i don't even-- /dies the fanclub were also allowed to ask questions, in which they said they are to be releasing a new album (!!!!) and then the MC asked jo kwon to DANCE. HIS KKAP DANCE. AND DANCE HE DID LOL I LOVE HIM SO MUCH GOD LIKE EXPLODING WITH LOVE OH MY GOD
the audience then chanted for jinwoon to dance next. then changmin. then seulong. lolol but kwon's dance still owns everyone else's ahaha.
they left again, but another video played. this time they played a video of how 2AM started, as narrated by kwon. luckily i have this uploaded because michi requested for it :D link here! you're supposed to see the subs (try watching the video in full screen if you can't?) :D this video was then used to introduce 이 노래 (This Song). they sang a version that was so pretty ugh so much blending my ears just literally died and went to heaven.... a heaven with 2AM's voices and screaming fangirls.
they ended the show there with kwon shouting "BABALIK KAMI (we will return)!" happily. oh god sdjlkasd he is so cute can i just take him home andsa jkbasldjabsdajksbd they did an encore though! they sang 잘못했어 (I Did Wrong) AND AAAGHHHHHH JINWOON IS THE CUTEST like when he does the choreography he is smiling from ear to ear asdbsdlkajdajdba so cute *__* they danced and danced and sang and the fangirls cheered and screamed and aaghhhhhhhhhh and then i died. happily.
and then they left. :') suffice to say, that day was euphoric for me. i didn't even remember how tired i was until after the show. ugh. thank you 2AM. i was greatly pleased.
