Not feeling well and starting to short list ...
We recently advertised the empty post of Learning Assistant [read Library Assistant] for the Learning Centre at the college and got (wait for it) 190 applications.
I am now slowly having to dig through them and make a shortlist ... and I was up all night after a bout of Upset Insides (the ongoing thing but more the usual than the recent problem) which is making me feel a bit wobbly.
At least today is my half day and I can go and spend some time at Kew looking at the glass houses. They were putting together a display of flowering bulbs in the temperate house when I was there a couple of weeks ago so I am hoping they might be blooming if I go today. I may also get to share my lunch with the resident Robin population who live in there and come and request sandwiches ...
