Oh man! I found the coolest thing. I've recently started making Maria which is like...ten thousand times more difficult than any knitting project I've attempted before. I tried looking on knitty to see if there was any help (I instantly got stumped on the ribbing for the sleeve, which is sad! After staring at the pattern for a while, it all started to make sense) but there wasn't much in the way of threads on the message boards there. And then today, on advanced knitting, lo and behold, someone mentions Maria. And then mentions that there is an ENTIRE COMMUNITY devoted to this sweater, and how to knit it. Suddenly, I no longer have to worry about getting help with this sweater. It kind of bowled me over how popular this cardigan is.
