Around the world in 2 days...
Just arrived in Sydney, but too early to check into te hostel so I'm sat in the little cafe next door waiting on my first Aussie breakfast. The flights seemed to take ages... lots of waiting around and disembarking and re-embarking. Everything seems pretty nice so far and the differences are very subtle... Everything seems slightly bigger! From the drinks to roads; my breakfast just arrived and I swear it was like 6 rashers of bacon and 4 bits of toast as well as the eggs and tomato.
Not sure quite what to do today? I managed to sleep on the last leg of the flight so I'm actually pretty awake for the morning here :) I think after I check in and can leave my bags here I might head into the city, the weather should be better for the beach later in the week. I figure getting used to the transport round here would be pretty helpful.
There's so many travel companies right next door doing coaches all over the country - I can see how it might be pretty tempting to just hop on one and see the rest of Australia! Still the plan is to stay here at least for a few months... though finding a job might be a bit of a priority atm! This post is mainly to test whether my LJ still works properly and if it'll cross post like it's told to :P
