Book news
If anyone recalls from one of my previous posts I am publishing a book. So I decided to talk a little about how it's going.
I have got most of the material together now, and I am working on the layout of the main document. The next few months will be spent finalising the layout and adding detail to pieces and reworking pieces, and producing some high quality sketches to augment the finalised material. I'm hoping to finish the book way before the deadline (which is the end of 2008), as I would like the book to be quite early in the eclipse series (they're at number 6 already!).
The book will feature at least 48 pieces of my artwork, along with the accompanying poems, which I feel provide addition intrigue to the pieces. Some of the pieces will not have been seen before, and most of them will be reworked to improve the quality and integrated into the main theme, so people will get some nicely presented, new material.
The title of the series will be Gothic Fall, but I haven't decided upon the subtitle of this particular book yet.
I have also done quite a cool cover design, but I'm not going to reveal it just yet ;)
